About Water Stories

We train and connect people to

create meaningful impact through

Decentralized Water Retention.

Whether you’re experiencing Drought, Flood, Fire, Extreme Weather, Water Scarcity, or Ecosystem Collapse - this is the place to transform your concerns into actions. ‍We created Water Stories to empower you to revive landscapes and provide space to connect with communities taking action for a better common future.

How do we train thousands of people to Restore the Water Cycle?

This is the question that gave birth to Water Stories. We are a team of Water Cycle Restoration professionals, creatives, and advocates, set on empowering people around the world to revive rivers, reverse drought, and heal their lands and waters.

Water Stories’ mission is to distill the wisdom of the world’s leading Water Heroes into an actionable training that can be done by anyone. We believe that anyone, no matter your background, context, income, or age, can have an impact on your local Water Cycle.

A Message of Hope

As Water Stories continues to grow and develop, we like to celebrate the projects and milestones that have positively impacted the health of watersheds. Our evergreen post, A Message of Hope is a timeline we created to share with you, to keep ourselves accountable, and to record our growth as we continue to push for more.

By joining the community, you become a part of this message. The exchange of knowledge, the collaborative projects, and the connections you make, are all a part of creating real change on the landscape. Water cycle restoration needs everyone, and every contribution is crucial.

I can't thank you enough for the wonderful program you have put together to help partake in this important work of restoring the hydrologic cycle and changing our relationships with ourselves, our natural world and our human kin. It is holistic and really amazing when fully embraced.

I learned a lot about how to look at the landscape differently and moved forward on projects I've been wanting to do.
